It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Clifford Harkness, on October 30, 2017 

Services will be held Sunday, November 12, with a 3:00pm Mass at Christ Church, located at 326 Clinton Street, Brooklyn, New York.

Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 between the hours of 2:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00pm

Interment services will be held Monday, October 23rd with a 10:30am Departure from the funeral home to Rosehill Cemetery, located in Linden, New Jersey

A Memorial Service will be held in her honor on Thursday, September 28, 2017 10:00am - 1:00pm.  Family and Friends are welcome to attend.

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Erik Colon, on September 03, 2017 

Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 between the hours of 2-5 & 7-9pm 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 with a 9:45am Mass Time at Sacred Heart St. Mary of Naz Church. 

Cremation Services to follow at Greenwood Crematory, located in Brooklyn, New York 

 

Our beloved Erik died at Albany Medical Center on September 3, 2016 after an extended illness.
 
He is predeceased by his father, Hector M. Colon, aunt, Gladys Colon, and aunt and uncle Mimi and Louie Del Valle. Erik is survived by his wife, Ivy, daughter, Adrienne Colon, mother, Milagros Colon, and brothers Andy and Joey Colon. He is also survived by his nephews Alex and Aiden and nieces Avianna and Janihyah, along with several cousins, uncles, aunts and many devoted family friends. 
 
Erik’s passion for his family, his students and the university community will continue to live on through his impact. He loved being involved in community service projects, traveling, technology gadgets, jigsaw puzzles and dancing.
 
Affiliations: Academic Counselor, Educational Opportunity Program at Binghamton University and served as Parliamentarian for the Faculty and Staff of Color Association. A member of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA), National Academic Advisors Association (NACADA), served as the NACADA New York state representative for Region 1 and as registration co-chair for its Regional Conference. 
 
The family will receive friends at Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, N.Y. on Thursday, September 14th from 5-9pm with a service at 7pm. Expressions of sympathy in his memory can be made to his daughter’s college fund. Donations can be mailed to the Colon Family at 331 Arthur Avenue Johnson City, NY 13790.
