Nilda Karpowicz 83 years old of Lyndhurst, NJ passed away January 5, 2024 at Prospect Heights Convalescent Center in Hackensack.
She was born on Jun 2, 1940 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico to the late Albert and Gloria Alvarez, she was a Social Worker for the Long Island College Hospital.
Surviving are her children Jessica, Robert and Mark and was predeceased by her daughter Debra.
Also surviving are her 15 cherished grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visiting will be Thursday and Friday 3:00pm until 8:00pm at Cobble Hill Chapels 171 Court Street, Brooklyn, New York. Burial will be Saturday 10:00am at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York.
